Clients may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, and tingling at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb, usually within the first 10 minutes

Typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, bruising, numbness, firmness, stinging, tenderness, skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat if the double chin area is treated. These side effects tend to be minor and occur only around the treatment area. Most minor side effects decrease or disappear within a few days to a few weeks after the procedure. However, it is normal to feel numbness or loss of sensation in the treatment area for up to a month.

Rare side effects may also occur.
