Retire that razor, it’s time to try laser!
Are you tired of shaving? Dealing with ingrown hairs? Endless waxing appointments?
Laser Hair Removal
The Soprano Ice technology works with all skin and hair types, all year round with consistent, safe, reliable results.
A high repetition rate of short pulses is delivered deep into the dermis, achieving high average power and therapeutically effective heat build-up, with virtually no pain.
The sweeping In-motion™ technique of moving the applicator repeatedly over the treatment area ensures full coverage while ICE™ tech cools the skin surface – preventing superficial burns and allowing for virtually painless, yet highly effective hair removal.

Benefits

No downtime
You can return to normal activities, immediately after treatment.

All skin tones and hair types
Effective results for light or dark skin as well as coarse or fine hair.

Quick
Treatment sessions are super-quick, even for large areas such as the legs or back.

Virtually painless
The unique heating and energy delivery method effectively damages the hair follicle and prevents re-growth, while preventing injury to the surrounding tissue. At the same time, ICE™ tech cools the skin surface, preventing superficial burns and sensations of pain.

Tanned skin
Soprano hair removal affects the melanin of the skin using a unique method, allowing the procedure to be performed anytime of the year as well as on all skin types. Furthermore, sun exposure is less traumatic to the skin following SHR treatment.

Perfect for any area of the body
Including sensitive or hard-to-reach areas such as the ears, nostrils, and the bikini line.
Pre-Treatment Care
4 WEEKS AND LONGER BEFORE TREATMENT
- Avoid receiving natural fillers (hyaluronic acid, Juvederm, Restylane, collagen) 4-6 weeks before treating in the area. Clients receiving synthetic fillers (silicone) cannot be treated in the area.
- Discontinue Accutane (Isotretinoin) 6 months prior to treatment.
3 WEEKS BEFORE TREATMENT
- Avoid waxing, plucking, tweezing, threading, chemical epilation, micro-needling, etc. due to the disruption of the hair follicle, which is the target for the laser.
2 WEEKS BEFORE TREATMENT
- Protect your skin from sun exposure for 2 weeks before your treatment by using a sunscreen that is PABA-free, waterproof, SPF 30 or greater, and effective against UVA and UVB light.
- Avoid chemical peels, bleaching, and other laser procedures in the treatment area.
- Avoid receiving Botox, Dysport, and Kybella injections in the treatment area.
1 WEEK BEFORE TREATMENT
- Some medications, including many antibiotics, can increase your sensitivity to the heat and light of the laser. Please disclose all medications to your laser technician so safety can be established. Medications that are photosensitive may necessitate rescheduling. Please call the clinic to check safety.
- Alpha and beta hydroxy (AHA/BHA) products, hydroquinone, retinol/retinoids (Retin-A, Tazorac, Differin, etc.), and salicylic acid washes must be discontinued at least 7 days prior to treatment.
DAY BEFORE TREATMENT
- The treatment area must be clean-shaven 12-24 hours prior to treatment.
DAY OF TREATMENT
- Skin must be clean and free of makeup, lotions, oils, deodorant, sunless tanning products, numbing cream, etc. Products on the skin can increase the likelihood of adverse responses to the laser.
- Avoid activities that increase body temperature for at least 2 hours before and after treatments.
- Clients prone to cold sores may take an antiviral medication prior to treatments if advised by their personal physician. The heat from the laser can aggravate a reaction.
- Clients with active cold sores cannot be treated in the area of active sores.
- Skin that is sunburned, hot to the touch, peeling, or is otherwise damaged cannot be treated.
Post-Treatment Instructions
DAY AFTER TREATMENT
- It is normal to experience a sensation similar to a sunburn. It will disappear within 2 to 24 hours after treatment.
- It is recommended to apply an Aloe Vera cream or ice pack every 5 to 10 minutes until the symptoms disappear.
- The redness usually disappears within 1 to 2 hours after treatment. During that time avoid the following:
- Applying makeup on the treated region.
- Shaving on the treated region.
- Swimming, especially in pool water containing chemical products and chlorine.
- Activities that may make you sweat profusely.
- After treatment, the hair growth may seem thicker which is normal. This is not hair regrowing but hair follicles that are evacuated.
- It is recommended to clean the treated area softly with a wet cloth. Avoid using lotions, perfumed soap, exfoliating creams, and Loofah sponges until the treated region is completely healed.
- No Retin-A or Retinol products to the treated area for 3 days after treatment.
- Avoid wax hair removal, and more importantly, do not pull out any hair in the treated area.
- If scabs appear, apply an antibiotic ointment. Do not scratch or it could cause infection or permanent scars.
- Avoid exposing treated areas to the sun. Between treatment and for the next 4 to 6 weeks, apply a sunscreen lotion by using a sunscreen that is PABA-free, waterproof, SPF 30 or greater, and effective against UVA and UVB light.
2 WEEKS AFTER TREATMENT
- Shedding of treated hair continues. This is NOT new hair growth.
- Chemical peels and other laser procedures in the treatment area may be resumed.
4 WEEKS AND LONGER AFTER TREATMENT
- New hair growth will occur about 4-6 weeks after treatment on the upper body, but may not occur for 2-3 months on the lower body. Hair regrowth occurs at different rates in different areas of the body.
- Careful observation of when hair starts regrowth is necessary to optimize your treatments.
